Mr Arthur Morton was yesterday reelected chairman of the Mangorei Dairy Company, a position that he has occupied continuously since the formation of the company 2iA years ago. Mrs H. T. Bishop, Bell Block, has received advice that her son. Trooper A- E. Bishop, was seriously ill with eiAeric fever on August 4th. Yesterday afternoon Mr W. M. Falconer, who is leaving New Plymouth to enter into partnership with Mr Fairburn, accountant, Wianganui, was presented by the directors of the Taranaki Amusements, Ltd., of which he has been secretary, with a fountain pen and a piece of plate for hi 3 wife, together with a purse of sovereigns from the company. The recipient was entertained by the directors to afternoon tea at the Marble Bar, where good wishes were expressed for his future success, Mr Falooner, who haa held several important appointments in the town with credit to himself and advantage to those concerned, leaves for Wanganui on Tuesday. He will be succeeded by Mr C. H, Wynyard, late of the teaching staff of the New Plymouth High School.
