The New York Times' correspondent, commenting on the cable received from Rome, saying that the Brazilian Minister at Rome was going to France to greet the Brazilian troops who had arrived at the West front, says the report is unconfirmed by the Brazilian Embassy, where it is believed the report is erroneous. The Embassy has no knowledge of the transportation of Brazilian troops to France. It is possible the report refers to the fact that Brazilian sailors and Brazilian warships have been co-operating with the Allied and American Navies.
