WEATHER FORECAST.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A disturbance of a cyclonic character now rules over the Dominion, and the centre appears about the West Coast of the South Island. Heavy rain has fallen in many parts, and there is considerable snow on some of the higher levels in the south. Strong westerly winds rule in the north, but southerlies in the'far south. Present Indications are for high west to south and south-easterly winds. Weather gloomy, with heavy rain and rivers flooded in many parts, and snow on higher levels. The barometer Is due to rise soon for a short time in the south, but a further fall may be anticipated to follow.
