AN "UNREAL DEBATE." BONAR LAW'S REPLY TO DILLON.

The talk about the tyranny of En?la nd was ridiculous If the English Covernment had oomn>i«t*d a. fault, it was by laxity, not by tyranny. We would all like to see a settlement of the question, but that could onry be if those who made demands were prepared to look at the whole facts of the ease.

Unionist members of the present Government were prepared to introduce a, Bill to give effect to some sort of selfgovernment for Ireland in order,to get ride, of the home rule question, even if it, alienated a large, section of-JSieir party.,; : ;. The Nationalists should cbpy the 'attitude of Irishmen all over the wtffld who not only wanted liberty, but were willing to fight for it.
