GOLF.
At the-Waiwakaiho Links to?day the isecond round of the Medley Cup com'petition will be played, and on Saturday next a fourball match. On Thursday, 15th inst., the New Plymouth Club propose holding a mixed foursome competition in aid of the Bed Cross fund, to bo open to members of any golf clubs affiliated to the New Zealand Golf Association. Players need not be members of the same club. Entries, accompanied by. club handicaps and. entrance fees, Is each player, will be received by the secretary up to Tuesjday, 13th August.
