WEDDING.
CAREY—M'KEAGUE. Tho wedding of Private Lawrence Carey, fourth son oC Mrs. X- Carey, of Oka'.o, and Miss Ellen M'Kcag-ue, fifth ilaughter oi' the late Mr. VV. M'Keague, of Feilding, took place on June 1, at ! Wellington. The Rev. Father Hpare officiated. The bride, who was given away liy her brother-in-law (Mr. M. Ham), wore a charming frock of white crepe <Je chine, beautifully ornamented with silver laee, dainty pale blue and pink chiffon rosea and bands of silver, with court train lined with shell pink. She also wore a veil and wreath oi orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of pink and wfhite roses and maiden-hair fern. The bridesmaid (Miss Cecily Sheehv) wore a pretty frock of w;hite crepe georgette and picture hat of white velvet. 'She also carried a beautiful bouquet of pink roses and maidenhair. fern. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. C. Ohristensen a3 best-ma.ii. The bridegroom presented the bridesmaid with a cameo ring, and to the bride he gave a set of fox furs. His present from the bride was a wristlet watch. After the roception, which was held at the Stafford Tea Rooms, Private and Mrs. Carey loft for trip to Auckland.
