ONE DEFENDANT DISCHARGED. London, July 2G At the Jonas case hearing at the 01:1 Bailey, Saim was discharged on the ground that there was no evidence to go to a jury. Sir Joseph Jonas .stated in evidence that his firm did an extensive business before the war with Germany. Wlwn war broke out German customers owed •Ills firm nearly £BO,OOO.
