Wellington, July 24, j RigreWtatives of the varioUßibra|cliei of tile liquor trade, including licensees and merchants, have been meet;ing in Wellington to-day to consider proposals for organisation in defence of their interests. No official statement has been made regarding the proceedl- - but it iB understood that the delegates,- ; -who have come from all over New Zealand, are planning ,a national organisation that will act for them in thfe forthcoming, fight on the prohibition issue. The ; conference is to be continued to-morrow.
