NATIONAL SERVICE.
GOVERNMENT HAS NOTHING YET TO SUBMIT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington. Yesterday. The Government, says Sir James Allen, continues making inquiries in regard to the possibilities in connection with the national service clause in the FinanceAct, but has not yet anything definite to Siibmit to a conference. Until the Government has some concrete proposals to place before the representatives of Labor and Capital, a conference will not bo convened. Meanwhile the National Efficiency Board is helping with preliminary inves'igntions.
