NEW PLYMOUTH v. WITIORA. - Yestefday afternoon the jJostponof match between the New Plymouth and Witiora Clubs was played at the Waiwakaiho links. The weather was ideal for golf, but the links were rather too soft to permit of good play. The match resulted in a decisive win for the Ney Plymouth Club, who won ten matches, lost one, and two were "all square," Results:—Johns lost to Grey, 8 down and 0; Bewley beat Elliott, 5 up and 3; Weston beat JSroome, 1 up; Xicoll beat Berridge, 3 up and 2; Hassel beat Srnajft, 3 up and 2; Wood beat Beale, 1 up ; Jackson beat Gannell, 4 up and 2; fiobertcon and Sole, jun., all square; Milne beat Hooker. 2 up and 1; M'Beth beat Bond, 6 up and 5; Glenn and all qsuare; Honan beat Johnson, 5 up and 3; Demp-aey beat Amlbury, 7 up ad fl.
