DURAZZO ENDANGERED, GERMAN REINFORCEMENTS ESPECTED. AUSTRIAN FLEET IN PERIL. Received July 15, 8.45 p.m. Washington, July 14. Italian military advices state that tho fall of Berat endangers Durazzo, one of the principal Austrian submarine bases in the Adriatic. If the Italians cross the Skumbi they will be within striking distance of Durazzo. Simultaneously the' French will be threatening El Bassan. It is expected that the Germans will rush reinforcements to Albania if they believe Durazzo to be endangered, as its capture will probably drive the Austrian fleet into the Adriatic. —Press Assoc. ' AUSTRIANS SUFFER HEAVILY. London, July 14. An Orient communique says: The enemy Buffered heavily in the retreat in Albania. We are now holding a line from the junction of Tomorica and Devoli. —Press Assoc. ENEMY EJECTED FROM A VILLAGE Received July 15,11.40 p.m. London, July 14. French Eastern official: The French, continuing their successes in Albania, ejected the enemy from the village at the confluence of the Tomorica and Devoli. —Press Association.
