I am glad to see that we have a lire school committee that believes in keeping things going. They hare decided to hold euchre parties every second Friday right through the winter and spring, which should help to swell the school funds.

A smart piece of robbery was carried out successfully in Ingle-wood on Tuesday morning last. Mr. Jaeobsen, of the Inglewood-Purangi motor service, left the fflaii car standing near Nichotl's store, and went inside to collect some parcels, only being absent about four minutes, when some kind friend emptied bis cash, bap, which was left hanging on the car, and some £2 odd in silver disappeared. The thief was evidently in a hurry, as he overlooked a cheque and a £1 note fn a corner of the bag. The police, up to the present, hare heard nothing of the missing money.
