In the former train the first half-dozen waeons foilowing the engine were smashed, but horse boxes containing four race-horses, and the guard's van, were not damaged. The other train was a longer one, and thirteen of the goods trucks were smashed up. while two were not damaged, one of the latter containing a motor car.
