A SEDITIODS' STRIKE. Gisborne, Last.Night. ! _ A prosecution under the War Regula tions Act for an alleged seditions strike took place at the Magistrate's Court, 'be. fore Magistrate Barton, as an outcome of the stoppage of the work it the Gisborne Sheep-farmers' Works on February 28. The men charged were all described as freezing Vtttks* employees. After hearing evidence, hij Wonhip said that strikes Were detrimental things at any time, but at the present time, when the war was in progress, it was the duty of every British subject to render all possible aid in the catffle. He would take into consideration the fact that the men returned to work on the following day, and would impose a penalty of £3 each, in default seven days' imprisonment.
