HUNTING.
The North TaranakJ Hunt met at Mr. 1. Cole's, Waihl, on Saturday last, when a most enjoyable afternoon's sport resulted. Hues were plentiful, and full of cuunlng, and, with the hounds fit and well, huntsmen and horses had had quite enongli when the timo for afternoon tea came round, the latter being dispensed by Mr. Cole, and thoroughly enjoyed by the large following. Deputy-Master Mr. B. . Chaney returned thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Cole, and the adjoining farmers, for their, Kindness to the hunt, more especially as tMs' 'was the third time preparations bad been mado for a meet, the two previous Thursdays being 100 wet There were many new horses .out at this meet, getting ,in tiwlr Qualification for the race matting W b* Md at •BWMfft. 11l ImHI ► ■ 5;
