purchase of wool. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Minister in Charge of Imperial Supplies has decided that no conference on the wool purchase offer by the Imperial Government is necesaaTy, and that the transaction may be regarded as closed.
A TWIN GEYSER ACTIVE. Rotorua,. Last Night. A twin geyser, with orifices about 70 yards apart, has appeared on the Frying Pan Flat, Waimangu, throwing water and mud 50 to 150 feet. The geyser was remarkably active on Sunday, averaging a thousand shots per hour.
