WAIMANGU GEYSER ACTIVE.
SOME HIGH SHOOTS. . By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. An eruption occurred at the Fryingpan flat, Waimangu, this afternoon. The water on the flat rose considerably, and a n outlet was cut in the bank to let it off, but a shoot 2000 ft high occurred at 3.15 p.m., followed by half a dozen smaller shoots. These were in the flat, the old geyser being in active ebullition, hut is now apparently decreasing.
