CHALMERS BLOCK TO BE WED. COLONEL WYLIE IN CHARGE. By Telegraph.—Press Asssciation. Christchurch, list NightThe North Canterbury Hospital and Charitable Aid Board decided to-day to accede to the request of Colonel T. H. A. Valintine (Director of Military Hospitals) to grant the use of the Chalmers block to the Defence .Department for the purpose of establishing an orthopoedio hospital. The consent of Miss Chalmers to the adoption of this course having h;-en obtained by Colonei Valintine, the IJew Zealand orothopoedic unit, under Jlplonel Wylie, which is duo from EngSnd in the near future, will locate here.
