FARMERS* CO.OP. REPORT. Okaiawa.—Fresh conditioned cows sold at from £lO to £l2 js, forward and store cows £6 10s to £9, honors £3 to £6, wcaner steers £2 to £3 2s, weaner heifers 38s, in-calf heifers £3 7s 6d to £l2. Sundries sold at ruling rates. On Monday we held a clearing sale of Mr. .Tudd's dairy cows and sundries. There was a good attendance of buyers, and we report a most successful sale. Best dairy cows £ls 10s to £2O ss, others £9 10s to £ls; also, on account of Mrs. Breen, dairy cows £l2 to £l4 10s. The sundries also sold well. At Rotoknre, Eltham, on Monday, we conducted a sale of Mrs. KeUiher's dairy cows,, etc. There was a fair attendance, and a satisfactory sale was held. We quote: July calvera £l3 to £lB, August £lO to £l2 10s, September £9 to £l2, in-calf heifers £0 10a to £l3, 2-year steers £ll 15s. On Tuesday at Awatuna we held a clearing sale of Mr. J. W. Bradford's dairy cows, etc. The herd was, with the exception of Ave, all second calvers in good condition, and met with fair competition throughout, the whole line averaging £l2. The Jersey cows were in best demand, and sold at from £l3 10s to £15,. Holstein £9 to £l3, Shorthorn £8 10s to £l4, Ayrshire to £l3, Jersey bull 16%gns, horses £3 to'' £lB. Implements and sundries sold well. Eltham.r-Fat and forward condition cows £lO to £l2, forward and store cows £6 10s to £9 15s, boners £3 10s to £6, weaners £1 3s to £3 2s, lambs 21s 9d. At Glenn Road, Manala, on Wednesday, we held a clearing sale of Mr. Brown's implements, furniture, pigs, and horses. We report a good sale, everything selliD? at high prices, On Wednesday, at Otukeho, we held a clearing sale of Mr. F. Lye's dairy cows and sundries. There was a good attendance, and we report a successful sale. The July calvera sold at from £ls to £27, August and September £7 10s to £l4, the wholo herd averaging £ls. Kaponca.—Fresh conditioned cows £lO to £lO 17s Gd. forward and store cows £6 10s to £fl, weaner steers £4 to £H, weaner heifers £1 lis to £2 10s, 20-month steers £7 9s. The advertised dairy cows on account of Mr. L. Bal&ont sold well, and mado from £9 10s to £l7 10s, averaging £l3 ss, springing heifers £7 5s to £l2 10s. On Friday, at Fraser Road, Eltham, we held a clearing sale on account of Mr. B. E. Haverbier. There was a good attendance of buyers, and a successful sale was held. The dairy cows sold at from £l6 to £24 10s, others £9 to £ls, averaging over £l4, horses to £3O. LOAN & MERCANTILE REPORT. At Opunake on Monday we had a fair yarding, but the demand was not very keen. Forward and store cows £9 2s to £9 18s, light stores £5 lCs to £7 10s, fat cows £ll to £ll 12s, weaner bulls £2, 2-year in-calf heifers i£s 7s. Manaln.—Forward cows £8 15s to £9 6s, store cows £8 to £8 lis, light cows and heifers £4 18s to £7 16s, good store pigs £2 9s to £2 19s, good slips £1 0s 9d to £2 ss, small weaners IGs to £1 Is; weaner heifers £1 14s, weaner steres £2 9s, bulls £7 15s. At Awatuna on Wednesday we held Mr i Pentelow's clearing sale of implements and , cattle. All sold at good prices, 'his herd averaging £l4 Is 6d.
