LAST WEEK'S RETURNS. The returns from the New Plymouth tramways for last week show a decided advance on those for the corresponding week of last year. For the 1917 period the passengers carried were 23,163, and the revenue earned £159 Ins 4d. while last week's totals were 24.205 and £167 0s Id. Following are the details for last week:—
