Maclean, Moleswarth Street, received word last week that her aon, Private E. E. Madman, had been admitted to hospital in Prance suffering from injury to his right knee. Later advice states that Private Maclean was transferred to hospital in England on June 16. . Mr. P. J. Brattle, of Eltham, has been advised that his youngest brother, Private Charles Brattle, who left wife the 10th Reinforcements, returned to Wellington Saturday (says the Argus). There are still four brother# On active service, one of whotn was twice rejected in New Zealand, and, undaunted, he worked his passage to England and was accepted for the British forces. Mr. Brattle's son, Private F- Brattle, is also at the front.
