Fat Lambs.—Extra prime to 355, prime 30s to 345, medium 27s to 29s 6d, light and unfinished 29s 6d to 265. Fat Sheep— prime wethers to 475, prime wethers 41b to 45s lid, medium 36s to 40s 6d, lighter 30s 9d to 35s 6d, merino wethers 23s 5d to 37s 3d. extra prime ewes 455.9 d, prime ewes 38s to 42s fld, medium 33s to 37s 6d, lighter 25s to 32s 6d, merino ewes 16s 2d to 23s 6d. BURNSIDE. At Burnside to-day 292 fat cattle were penned. The quality was fair and the entry exceeded requirements. Prices receded from 15s to 20s on last week's rates. Prime bullocks £lB to £2O, extra prime £22, medium £l4 10s to £l6, best cows and heifers £l3 10s to £l4 10s, extra £l6 7s Cd, medium £l2 to £l3, others £9 10s and upwards. Sheep—2l37 were penned. Competition for extra prime quality was very keen and values advanced by 2s to 3s. Medium quality were in good demand at late Tates. Best wethers 48s to 555, extra 549, medium to good 35s 6d to 395, best ewes 40s to 455, extra 51s 6d, medium to good 33s to 375, others 25s upwards. Lambs —1232 were penned. Competition was good and prices were firm. Best 28s to 32s fid, ex'tra 34s 6d, medium 25s to 27s 6d, others 22s upwards. (Pigs—A small yarding of fats met with keen competition at an advance on last week's rates. A good entry of stores was cleared at late rates.
