FOOTBALL.
STRATFORD v. N.P. HIGH SCHOOL. On the Pukekura Park Sports Ground on Thursday afternoon, Stratford Juniors defeated New Plymouth High School by 5 points to nil. The game proved a most exciting one, providing an exceedingly keen contest. In the second half Stratford scored a try, which was converted. High School had the advantage in the forwards, but the visiting backs were too good. Mr. C. H. Wynyard refereed. N.P. HIGH SCHOOL v. ROVERS. Owing to the unfavorable weather conditions In the morning, it was decided to postpone the match between New Plymouth High School and lovers. t BANKS. LAW & INSURANCE V. CIVIL SERVICE.
