FURTHER RESOLUTIONS. i By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 14. The Beekeepers' Conference endorsed the proposal to appoint & chief apiarist and increase tihe salaries of the present officers. A deputation waa appointed to-waifl on the Minister of Agriculture and thej Public Service Commissioner to urge th«i adoption of the .proposals. It waa also resolved—"That honey in store Jbei shipped at the earliest opportunity; that beekeeping 'be recognised as an essential industiy requiring petrol." At present there are 7000 cases of honey awaiting shipment. The State queen-rearing apiary at Tawanga will be sufficiently advanced to enable the Department to start queen-rearing early next season.
