NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
On Tuesday next this important show opens and continues until 10 p.m. on the following Friday. In conjunction there v, - i th are two other important functions which are: (1) The British Trade Exhibition organised by 11. M, Trade Commissioner, Mr. K. W. Daltori, aijd (2) the Manawatu Poultry Association's Annual Exhibition. Weil over 1000 birds will be shown at this year's event. The are from all over (lie Dominion and wi!l be a sight to gladden the ,; fancy" enthusiasts. The British Trade Exhibition will oc. cupy 5000 square feet of space section by itself in the produce hall. All the usual machinery and other trade displays which are regular features are provided for; all space now being booked. Very keen interest is being taken in the sheep dog trials, no less than 44 of the cleverest dogs in the Island being nominated. It so happens that this time of the year is very suitablo as the owners can better spare the time to get away. Nest week will be full of life in Palmerston North.
