"The Mortal Sm," tho fivo-part Metro wonderplay in which dainty Viola ])ana will bo seen, is a gripping melodrama of unusual interest In "The Mortal Sin" Miss Dana has one of tho greatest opportunities of her career and she lias taken full advantage of the possibilities offered. The part of Jano Anderson is replete with dramatic strength, and gives this versatile little star a chance to display her great emotional ability. The story tells of the struggles of George Anderson, an author who works in the day time in the office of Kmmct Stand isli, tho publisher, and at night mites laboriously on his novel "The Mortal Sin." "The Mortal Sin" deals with a wife's sacrifice of her honor in order to enaible her sick husband to go to a western sanatorium to ward off the tuberculosis which threatens him. The husband, returning unexpectedly, learns tho truth, but forgives his wife when he T ealises that her sacrifice was made for liim. Little Viola Dana goes through the powerful and dramatic scones with the ease and grace she has pre-.-' 'v displayed and makes the products most enjoyable.
