A WRONG IMPRESSION CORRECTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The telegram of June 7 regarding the Hon. T. M. Wilford's reply to a deputation from the Council of Cfatrches, in the process of conversation, lie seems to have conveyed a wrong impression. The Minister told the council ho did nofc agree with their contention that manble bars and similar places should be closed on Sundays, but that he agreed with the Chief Justice tli&t they were works of necessity and should be open.
