Hampson was sentenced to two years' reformative detention, anf Willoughlby was ordered to repay the £'l9 tgJcen from the two Maori women and pay £ll costs, in default six months' imprisonment. David Collins .and John Davis, two returned soldiers, charged with robbing and assaulting Rdbert Black Adams, another returned soldier, and with a±temptying to defeat the course of justice, •were both found guilty of assault and of attempting to defeat the course of justice. Sentence was deferred. The case arose out of a fracas before the Anzac dinner ait Blastings. ,
