Napier, Laet Night. •At the Supreme Court, Frederick Sampson and James vVillouglilby, who were found guilty yesterday of obtaining money by false pretences, appeared for sentence. Hampson was sentenced to two years' reformative detention, anf Willoughlby was ordered to repay the £'l9 tgJcen from the two Maori women and pay £ll costs, in default six months' imprisonment. David Collins .and John Davis, two returned soldiers, charged with robbing and assaulting Rdbert Black Adams, another returned soldier, and with a±temptying to defeat the course of justice, •were both found guilty of assault and of attempting to defeat the course of justice. Sentence was deferred. The case arose out of a fracas before the Anzac dinner ait Blastings. ,
