On Wednesday, at Kaupokonui. we held a clearing sale on account of Mr. F. Day of dairy cows, etc. There was a fair attendance, and we report a good sale. Best dairy cows sold at from £ls to £22 10s, others £8 5s to £l4, averaging £l3 7s, ra-ealf heifers £7 to £8 ss. weaners 375. The dairy cows on account of Mr. W. Wall sold at from £l2 to £IG, averaging £l4 5s 6d. On Friday we held a clearing jale on account of Mr. W, H. Schmidt, Normanby. There was a large attendance and a successful sale resulted. The dairy cows sold at from £7 to £2l 10s, averaging £l2 Gs, s heep 17s 6d to 21s Od. -V.ZX. AND M.A. CO.'S REPORT. At Opunake on Monday, June 3rd, our yarding was small on account of the holiday.
