IRELAND.

WOMEN'S ANTT-OONSCRIPTION PLEDGE. London, June 10. Women's day in Ireland on Sunday passed quietly, many thousand women signing the pledge declaring that conBcription without consent is tyranny Sind promising to help families suffering through their men refusing enforced military service. The Women's Committee is not hostile to voluntary recruiting. The Magistrate dismissed the charge against 33 members of the Limerick Board of Guardians of unlawful assembly and inciting to sedition. The Magistrate pointed out that the olerk gave evidence that he entered the minutes 12 days after the meeting and waa unable to swear who was present. Therefore there was no legal evidence that defendants had participated in a highly illegal meeting.—Aub.-N.Z. Cable.
