PATRIOTIC WORK.
THE SOLDIERS' CLUB. The management committee of the Soldiers' Club wish to thank the following tea hostesses for May. It has been a busy month, there being 328 gneats: Mrs. Bundle, Mrs. Watts, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Bradbury, Mrs. Wood, Mrs. H. H. Street, Mrs. ,T. White, Mrs. Meal, Mrs. Sftlway, Mrs. Mills, Mrs. Baker, Mrs. C. Street, Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Jury, Mrs. Wilkes, Mrs. Austin, Mrs. J. Clarice, Mrs. Waugh, Mrs. Monk, Mrs. Hammond, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Nolan, Misses E. and J. Bennett, Miss Purdue, Miss Capel, Miss' Black, Miss Sole, Miss Hurrell, Miss Jury, Miss Oxenham, Miss Evans, Miss Chong, Miss Hartncll. The committee thanks the Okato Patriotic Sports Committee for their donation of £2O, which is very much appreciated, also friends who have subscribed during the month and left donations in the box. A kindly act was that of Mr. F. J. Darling, who cleaned the ' windows of the upstairs room for Anzac evening free of charge.
