RIFLE SHOOTING.
INGLEWOOD v. HAWERA. A very enjoyable outing was experienced at Hawera on Monday, when teams representing the Inglewood and Hawera Rifle Clubs met in a three-range match, 7 shots at each range. Shooting generally was good, the day being favorable for marksmen. Victory went to Inglewood by a margin of 24 points. The honors of the day went to Crossman (Inglewood), who made 97 out of a possible 105, making the full score of 35 at COO yards. President Taylor (Inglewood) rang on 34 at 500 yards. Rifleman J. Ekdahl also made a good "shoot," his total being 95, second best for the day.
