TIMBER FOR BUTTER-BOXES.
RESTRICTION OF EXPORT URGED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Xigiht. The conference of the North Auckland Dairy Factory representatives passed a resolution urging the Government to take steps to, conserve the timber for butter-boxes by restriction of export, and 'by regulations providing for adequate supplies at .prices not imposing burdens on the consumers ; also to take steps for re-afforestation, providing suitable timbers for essential industries.
