STATEMENTS BY MINISTER OF DEFENCE. By Telegraph. —Press Association. I Rotorua, Last Night. The Minister of Defence left for Wellington this afternoon. He denied the impression prevailing that the Government intended to withdraw soldiers from RoLorua sanatorium. He states that Mr. T. H. Lowry's donation of £!000 is to be used for the erection of mie of the two new wards in the King Oeorge Hospital, to be named the Lowry Ward.
