MEEHNu OF GERMAN SOCIALISTS. Amsterdam, June 2. At a meeting of the German Socialist Party to discuss the Entente Socialists' memorandum, Herr Ebert said that the attitude of German Socialists was laid down in the memorandum regarding the Stockholm Conference. German Socialists were already ready to participate in a conference of all the Socialist parties and negotiate with them on the basis of the Stockholm memorandum. The Entente Socialists' war aims largely accorded with the annexationist aims of their governments. The meeting resolved in favor of a general peace by understanding on the basis of the Reichstag resolution of June 19 last.—Reuter.
ERZEBERGER AT WORK. Paris, June 2. The Petit Parisien says that Herr Erzeberger is again endeavoring to promote peace by negotiations. German papers announce that he will submit a new motion to the Reichstag Main Committee—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. ■
