The House of Representatives passed a twelve billion dollar Army Appropriation Bill, also giving President Wilson power to increase the size of the army without limit. TEN YEARS FOR ESPIONAGE. MILLIONAIRE'S WIFE SENTENCED. Received June 2, 11.50 p.m. New York, June 2. At Kansas City, Rose Pastor Stokes, wife of the millionaire Phelps Stokes, was sentenced to ten years' imprisonment for an espionage act. Slhe wrote la letter to a newspaper charging the Government with favoring profiteersAGREEMENT WITH SWEDEN. ' Received June 2, 5.5 pjn. Washington, May 31. Official: An agreement between the United States, England, France, Italy and Sweden, for the period of the war, has been concluded in London, releasing 400,000 tons of Swedish shipping. More liberal rations of grain and flour will be allowed Sweden in exchange for the restriction of iron exports to Germany. A Danish mission is seeking a similar agreement.—Press Assoc.
