ILLEGAL DRILLING. GENERAL SHAW'S THREAT. Received June 2, 5.5 p.m. London, May 31. General Sliaw has issued a "proclamation threatening to make Limerick and Tipperary counties special military areas, unless the illegal drilling and other military activities cease. The Guardian's Limerick correspondent states that a union was summoned to court for alleged unlawful assembly in a board-room and adopting a resolution to incite to sedition. Raids for arms continue in various parts of Ireland.—Press Association. BOARD OF GUARDIANS SUMMONED Received June 2, 11.50 p.m. London, June 1. Summonses have been served on 33 members of the Limerick Board of Guardians for passing a resolution of protest against conscription in Ireland. — Press Association.
