STRATFORD v. EITHAM. This afternoon teams representing the abovo chilbs meet on the Stratford ground. Last week, on a heavy ground, the Eltliam players put up a big fight and showed a very general knowledge of the game. In to-day's match they should benefit from this experience, and make the local team play their hardest to win. He players chosen to represent Stratford are:—Backs—S. D. Ckmeron, C. S. Mahoney, R. Mulir; halves— K. Waters, A. Smart, W. Harris; forwards—W. A. Betta, R. J. O'Nedl, J. ■Sampson, N. A. Stevens, and R. Curtis.
