STARVATION IN THE COUNTRY. CONSTANT DESERTIONS. [Received May 27, 7j50 pjn. Athens, May 26. A Bulgarian deserter states there have been many deaths from starvation in Bulgaria The Government barbarously suppressed numerous outbreaks. The Bulgarians desiro peace- Their forces are now so weak in Macedonia that the 1918 class are being sent to the front line, not properly trained. The army is ill-fed, and there are constant desertions.—Eeuter.
