HOCKEY.
A hockey match was played on the Taumata Park, Eltham, on Thursday afternoon, between teams representing I'Jtham and Stratford, and despite the wet weather was thoroughly enjoyed by both sides. The Eltham club could not muster a full team, but put up a good game, anil only lost by five goals to tineo. Irwin, Attrill, and Frethey scored for Utham. Mr. W, Shepherd was re> feree.
