PRESBYTERY OF TARANAKI.

The Presbytery of Taranaki met ia Hawera on Tuesday. The Moderator, Rev. T. Tait, presided over a good attendance of members. Rev. F. W. Robertson, a former minister of Elthara, was present and was welcomed by the Moderator. The clerk intimated to the Presbvtery the quota of the Home Mission Fund collection expected from the various con* gregations. A letter from Rev. 0. Blundell announced that Mr. ,T. The scarcity of men made the obtaining of supply a matter of difficulty. Perkins, Home Missionary at Waita.ra. Homo missionaries' reports' from various stations indicated very many marks of progress.
