PICTURE SHOW POSTERS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Chrißtehurch, Last Night. The Dominion conference of the Church of England Men's Society passed the following resolution:—"That this conference protests against the publication of unseemly and suggestive posters and advertisements in connection with picture shows, and that the Wellington Diocesan Council be asked to arrange a deputation to wait upon the Minister of Internal Affairs with a view to bringing them under proper censorship." In the'eourse of the discussion, Bishop Julius said unless tho community was exceedingly vigilant, things would go from bad to worse in this matter. He. did jlot think it wasa bit of use sending a writtten protest to the Government at present, as Ministers were, very busy, and it would only .be cast into the waste-paper basket.
