NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
Advices from Palmerston North indicate the usual rising tide of bus-tie which is always present prior to the shows. There are business circles which hitherto have not had any opportunity to make themselves known at a National Dairy Show, which are going to be represented this year through his Majesty's Trade Commissioner (Mr. R. W. Dalton), who is organising and supervising an exhibition of British trades and industries thereat, Consequently this new departure is creating some interest in the forthcoming event. The usual applications for space, apart from the British trades exhibition, are numerous, and, big as the halls arc, there will not be any too much room
Inquiries for prize schedules, both in the general and poultry divisions, go to show that competitive entries may Ve anticipated. These are due to close or June 1, and separate schedules may be had on application to the secretary, box S5, Palmerston North. The committee has decided to charge Is 6d entrance fee for adults from 9 a.m. to £ pm. o n the last three days of the show; all other times fie charges will be a* before
