MILITARY WEDDING.
At St. Patrick's Church, Waitara, on May 20, Private James Vale, of N.Z. M.C-, and second son of Mrs. J. Vats Tralee, Ireland, was married to Helen (May) Richardson, only daughter <v' Mr. and Mrs H. G. Richardson, of Uruti. The Rev. Father Kelly officiated- The bride, who was given away by her father, Wore a smart brown tailor-made costume, witfc velvet and taffeta silk hat to iv.aich, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of rosea and chrysanthemums. 'l've bridesmaid, Miss Eris Rudkin, wore ft fawn gaoerdins. costume and hat tri iiKiteh, and carried a bouquet of golden chrysanthemums, maiden hair ferns, and autumn leaves. Both bouquets were presented by Mrs. P. Roberts. Private Gonrgc M. Richardson (returned soldier iirid brother of the bride) was best-man. The cliiirch was tastefully decorated by friends of the bride. Tie Wedding .Un vch was played by Mrs. J. G. Russell. The 'bridegroom's present to the bride was a handsome set of fox furs, ».nd to the bridesmaid a p*arl ring. Aft{-r the ceremony about GO guests were educational requirements of New PlyMany beautiful and useful presents were received, including several cheques. The I'oneymoon is to be spent in Wanganui.
