THE PLOT DISCOVERED. BY AMERICAN SECRET SERVICE. UPRISING AND INVASION PLANKED Received May 22, 9.30 p.m. Washington, May 21. It is officially reported that the Secret Service discovered plotting between German agents and Sinn Feiners in the United States, the purpose being an uprising in Ireland coincident with a German landing. The recent wholesale arrests in Ireland are partly due to American disclosures.

The Dublin the Times says the Mansion House conference today, including the Nationalists Messrs Diilon and Devlin, and the Sinn Fablers (Professor Macnaill and Alderman Kelly, issued a statement condemning as unconstitutional the deportations to England, and describing the Government.'s action as an attempt to discredit and disrupt Ireland's resistance of conscription and prejudice the Irish nation amongst friendly- countries.—Times. GERMAN AGENTS AT WORK. New York, May 21. A Dublin message to the New York Times states that there is a strong impression that Washington officials supplied the information upon which many of the Irish arrests were made.
