ATTEMPTED BURGLARY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Marten, May 21. The premises of C. Smith and Co. drapers, were broken into between Saturday night and Monday morning. The safe was partly blown open, but the thieves apparently Were disturbed and left before completing their work. Ail they got was £l, which had been left on the top of the safe. About £IOO waft in the safe.
