Dick Johnson arrived with Rawakore find Henry Clay on Saturday evening. Astor was sold, to a Blenheim sport. Boro jumped well yesterday morning, but he was blowing hard at the end of a mils, and was then pulled oft. Dasher Boy and Sir Fisher jumped five hurdles at racing pace. The former led into the straight, but the Century Hurdles favorite drew out and jumped the last fence well clear of his opponent. Henry Clay did a round in good time, 'out Rawakore was restricted to threequarter pace woric. The mare looks anything but handsome with her mane clipped close. Onipoto jumped the big fences in dashing style, but at the end of two miles he slipped on landing, after making a big leap at tlio brush, and came down. Both rider and horse escaped injury. Munster jumped four fences very Bi-ratchily. It is stated that Bon Reve will not be a. starter here.

A number of Taranaki horses were expected to arrive on Monday evening. itarton and Nita showed to greater advantage than Coalition and liecord 011 Saturday morning. The former pair fenced brilliantly, but Coalition jumped Very carefully, Record tired in the last mile.
Kaupokonui gave a clever exhibition over two rqundg of the big fences yesterday. Fred Tillcy's team is due to arrive on Tuesday mornirg. of tho small sticks on Satturdav. Waiotnre fenced well over two rounds Sir Fisher is now a firm favorite for tlie Century Hurdles. (iluepot. strode along nicely yesterday, and he has only to give a good exhibition over the, big fences this morning to send him out first choice for the big steeplees. Marton never looked better, and promises to beat more than beat him on Thursday. It is reported here that Collector lias been backed very heavily for the Century Hurdles. lie has a tough nut to i crack in Sir Fisher. It is rumored that Nita may not he a starter on the first day, but this morning's acceptance lists should decide the question. Warmth put up the best gallop of the morning yesterday-
