SATURDAY'S PROCEEDINGS. At the Supreme Court on Saturday, before hia Honor the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout), Mr. W. J. • Tread well (Wanganui) intimated that a settlement had been reached in the case of Minhinnich v. Corrigan,, on the defepdant undertaking to perform certain obligations by a given date. Should, there b<« any default, judgment would be sought asking for performance of the, agreement. In the meantime Ij? asjc?d that the case be allowed to stand down. Mr. Quilliam, for defendant, assented. In the matter of costs in connection with the divorce suit, Harvey v. Harvey and Deegan, his Honor said he had decided to allow the respondent - £SO of the damages, the balance to go to th« petitioner. Respondent's costs would be allowed against co-respondent, provided they did not exceed the £25 allowed by petitioner. Accounts must be filed. The judge said respondent was a good housekeeper and well able .tp earn a good living, especially in present times.
