REBELLION TIMELY AVERTED. CONSPIRATORS AiRRESTED. Received May 19, 5.5 p.m. London, May 18-. Documents revealing a vast Irish conspiracy have reached the War Cabinet Be Valera, Griffith, and Marciewitz have been arrested. It is believed the arrests prevented another outbreak of the rebellion in Ireland.—Press Association.

Mr. Dfllon presided at a meeting of the Irish Parliamentary ftrty at Dublin. after which a statement was issued declaring that the Government nevei; reallv intended introducing and passing a Home Bnle Bill containing the slightest hope of a settlement.—Press Assoc.
A GERMAN PLOT. DRASTIC MEASURES TAKEN. Received May 19, 11.30 p.m. London, May 18. A Dublin proclamation announces that a German plot has been discovered, and summons all loyal people to stamp it out. Drastic measures are being taken forthwith.—Press Assoc.
FURTHER ARRESTS. Received April SO, 12.30 ajn. London, May 18. The Irish arrests include William Cosjrrove, Arthur Griffith, Thomas Dillon, Barrel), and Figgis, members of the Sinn Fein executive, and eight others.—Press Assoc.
