(From Our Own Correspondent.)' Eltham, May 18.

Elthamites rolled up in large numbers on Friday evening to welcome home Eltham and district boys returning from tlie front. I wrote "boys," as many of them were youths when they left, but now return scarred veterans. The Salvation Army band played several tunes, and then the Mayor (Mr. T. B. Crump). an enthusiast in these matters, delivered a short address, in which he made the returned men feel that at last they had reallv arrived home.
